How easily do you remember significant moments of your life? Do you know the correct verb pattern for this question? Is the answer A, B, or C? Check back tomorrow for the answer and the explanation! Learn with us now!

The correct answer is: c. giving

Grammar topic: verb patterns. When the verb 'forget' is followed by a gerund it means that you forget (or never forget, as in the example sentence) an action you have done. The action has happened. When 'forget' is followed by to + infinitive it means that there is an action that you mustn't forget to do. The action hasn't happened yet. I think that it is rather difficult to forget to give birth to your baby.
